Ya you truly said: M Muralitharan is the great cricketer in the world cricket history and its record haul will be very hard to beat.The off-spinning legend reached an astonishing 800 wicket.The 38-year-old Muralitharan began his Test career against in Colombo in 1992.The man with dexterous wrist,supple fingers and enormous strength of mind is the highest wicket taker in test with 800 score.
Sri Lankan Captain Kumar Sangakkara said- "it would be futile if we start looking for another Muralitharan.There will be only one Muralitharan. We will have to make the best use of what we have."
Australian legend Shane Warne also narrated- "I don't think anyone will get there, so well done to Murali for getting his 800. The way he's gone about it has been amazing. There's been a lot of controversy about his action but at the end of the day the ICC cleared him, he's allowed to play, and what he did with the ball was amazing."
On adieu ceremony Muralitharan said, I've a happy moment to share with all the people around the world.Reaching the 800 wicket mark was not in my mind.
